Back to attendance

How do I check in, check out, and read my timesheet?

Use the big Check in / Check out button on the Attendance page. Your hours, overtime and monthly timesheet build automatically, and you can request a fix for any missed day.

Quick answer

Attendance is a single big button. Tap Check in when you start your day and Check out when you finish — everything else (your hours, overtime, late minutes and monthly timesheet) is worked out for you. If your company turned on selfie or location capture, you'll be asked for it at check-in.

Checking in and out

Open Attendance from the sidebar. You'll see today's clock, a live timer of how long you've been working, and one button:

  1. Check in

Tap the green button. Allow the camera or location prompt if asked.
  2. Work

The timer runs while you're checked in. Check out and back in whenever you take a break.
  3. Check out

Tap the red button. Your day is scored as Present, Half day, and so on.

Your timesheet

Below the clock you'll see this month's summary — present days, half days, absences, leave, overtime and late minutes — and a day-by-day timesheet. Use the arrows to look at earlier months.

Fixing a missed day

Missed a check-in? Click Fix a day, choose the date and whether it was a full or half day, and add a short reason. It goes to your manager (or an admin) for a quick approval, and once approved the day is corrected on your timesheet.

Frequently asked questions

What if I forget to check in or out?
Open Attendance, click "Fix a day", pick the date, choose Present or Half day, and add a short reason. Your manager (or an admin) approves it and the day is corrected.
How are my hours counted?
Every check-in/out pair is added up across the day. If you cross your company's overtime threshold, the extra time shows as overtime. Checking in after the grace window counts the minutes as "late".
Will approved leave or a holiday show as absent?
No. If your company syncs leave and holidays (most do), an approved leave day shows as "On leave" and a company holiday shows as "Holiday" — never absent.
