Home is built to be useful the moment you open it. Instead of one crowded page for everyone, ASHR.work picks the cards that match your role. That is why your screen and your colleague's screen can look different even though the web address is exactly the same.
What does an employee see?
If you are an employee, Home focuses on you. You will typically see cards like these:
- Your leave balance (days left this year)
- Pending tasks (things waiting for you to do)
- Upcoming holidays
- Company announcements
What extra does a manager see?
A manager sees everything an employee sees, plus cards about their team. For example:
- Team approvals (leave requests waiting for your yes/no)
- Team stats (who is on leave, team headcount)
What extra does an admin see?
An admin sees the employee and manager cards, plus org-wide widgets. For example:
- Total headcount
- Pending onboarding submissions to review
- Module usage across the company
Why do modules also change what I see?
Every card is tied to a feature. If your org has not switched on a module, its card simply will not appear. So if your company does not use, say, surveys, you will not see a surveys card on Home even if your role would normally show it.
