Quick answer
Go to /employees/new to see every onboarding submission in one table. Open a row to review the new hire's details and uploaded documents. Then click Approve to convert them into an active employee (which triggers their ID), or Request changes to send the form back with a note explaining what to fix.
Where do I see submissions to review?
Go to Admin → Employees → New, at /employees/new. Every new hire who has filled in their onboarding form shows up here as a row in a table, so you can work through them in one place.
What does each row tell me?
Each row gives you a quick summary before you open anything, so you know where each new hire stands:
- The new hire's name
- Submission status (submitted, in review, and similar)
- Completeness (whether all sections and documents are done)
How do I check the details?
Click a row to open the full submission. Here you can see everything the new hire entered — personal, contact, bank and emergency details — and view the documents they uploaded, such as ID proof and education certificates. Take a moment to confirm the details look correct and the documents are readable.
How do I approve or send it back?
Open /employees/new
Find the new hire's row and click to open their submission.Review everything
Check their details and open each uploaded document.Click Approve
This converts them into an active employee and triggers their employee ID.Or click Request changes
Add a short note saying what to fix; the form goes back to the new hire.
What happens after I approve?
Approving turns the submission into a real, active employee record. ASHR.work then assigns their employee ID automatically based on your settings. From that point they appear in the directory and can use the rest of the system.
